it occurs to me, it's been a while since i said much about my life

Things have been doing ok lately.

This past weekend, I had a really awesome birthday party. I fear I made something of a spectacle of myself by making out with hot people, but dammit, it was my birthday party! I deserved hot people! (I am slightly embarrassed by the sheer volume of public affection, but only in the fear that I've frightened off a couple of party newcomers.) Heh. It was a whole lot of fun, as were the conversations I had with a bunch of people. Also, I got awesome presents that make me really happy. I'm still all bouncy about the cool photography conversation I had with one friend (who gave me a fabulous art book) and the fisheye camera (!!!) from another friend. I'll finish off my test roll and post the results for you all to see.

This week has largely been about recovering from friend visits, catching up on VP work and errands. Then I'm having another visiting friend this weekend.

Huh, not very exciting I guess. Lots going on in my head, not so much action.
