moving (around, not out)
Oct. 20th, 2007 06:13 pmFor about a year, I've been wanting to make a big change in the layout of my room. It's Saturn Return time, and I guess I'm wanting to shift the energy in here some. For the past few nights, I have been diligently carrying almost everything that had been cluttering my room (rather a lot of stuff, since there were a ton of laundry baskets awaiting a new closet configuration, boxes of random stuff from last minute party cleanups, and all the old and mostly unused computer hardware from my desk) out to the living room and leaving it in a big pile.
chrisla said it looked like my room exploded.
It's funny, but when I moved in here I wanted to design things according to good feng shui principles. I wasn't exactly sure I was a believer, but I like good energy flow, and it seemed like it might help inspire me to come up with good layouts. Now when I want to change things around, I'm sitting here thinking about where I should put things for maximum impact. What section of the bagua? I am amused. Do you all do this too?
