3br 2ba house in Redwood City/Emerald Hills. Tons of closet space, finished basement, huge former garage/workshop, bi-level back deck/patio, 2 car garage (driveway fits 4 cars), chicken shack.... Garden has rosemary and lavender, tons of fruit trees: tiny plums, apples, pears, lemons, several heritage oaks. Charmingly visited by wildlife, quiet neighborhood. Kitchen has gas stove, dishwasher, nice refrigerator. Basement comes with washer and dryer in place, water heater enough for two simultaneous showers. Wired for data/phone in almost all rooms. New low-flow toilets in both bathrooms. View of the bay, can see fireworks everywhere from the roof. Awesome landlord is local, hands-off unless you need him, generally good guy. Dogs and cats welcome, and I think you could also have chickens and/or goats if you wanted. Close to 280, schools. 10 minute drive to CalTrain, downtown, new Whole Foods & remodeled Safeway.
Current rent is $2450/mo, and rumor has it that landlord won't up it for friends of ours. In fact, he's never raised it on us, and even lowered it a few years back.
and I have lived here for almost exactly 7 years. We love it, but we're both moving on and it's time to go. We'd love it if friends would move in, so we could make the moving experience that much easier for everyone. (Please save me from random people I don't know wandering through as the place gets shown.)
Are you interested? Do you know anyone who is? Let me know ASAP so we can get this rented to someone cool. Please feel free to pass this on, repost, etc. Contact tyrsalvia@gmail.com with your phone number and name (and if you're not a direct friend, how you heard about this).
